I am guilty of making excuses for people ππΌββοΈ Someone shows their true colors and instead of saying βπππππ πͺπ π¦, π π ππ£πππ₯ π¦πππ§ππ£π€π, ππ π£ π‘π£π π₯πππ₯πππ ππͺ ππππ£ππͺ πππ π€ππ π¨πππ ππ π¨ππ π₯πππͺ π£πππππͺ ππ£π βwe seem to create a version of the story in our head that allows that person to become someone else. Someone who they really arenβt.
Why?
Because itβs hard for us to believe that anyone has different motives than us. Itβs hard to believe that someone would actually π»πππ ππ and just not care. Itβs hard to understand that not everyone has the same heart as us. So instead of calling a spade a spade we dress it up all pretty in pink and pretend like itβs good for us.
Iβm learning to let go. Let go of friendships, let go of hopes and let go of things that donβt serve me anymore. If it doesnβt make me feel good, itβs gone. No hard feelings, no hate, just a simple understanding that we are protected in ways that we need to start paying attention to. One of these ways is this....If they show you who they are, believe them and then run.
Have a great day friends! Take good care of each other and be well π«
